AIR FREIGHT FROM ROMANIA TO CANADA
ROSHIPPING performs air shipping of personal goods (personal effects) to international airports in Canada, respectively for relocation, shipment of personal effects to your friends abroad, unaccompanied baggage, sending gifts to friends and relatives.
Upon request, we provide packaging (cardboard boxes, ISPM 15 heat treated wooden packaging), labeling, protection for fragile items, professional packaging, pick up from the residential address and other related service, for a fee.
ROSHIPPING also provides customs assistance in your shipment’s customs clearance.
DOCUMENTS FOR CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
- list of parcels / inventory, in Romanian language
- sender’s EORI code (can be obtained for free from the Customs Authority: https://customs.ro/e-customs/eori/sistem-informatic)
- copy of identity document / passport
- any other documents requested by the Customs Authority
The crates / packages are handed over at the Henri Coanda International Airport as “ready for carriage” and properly labeled, in the location, at the date and time interval that we approve after the airline accepts the reservation.
VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT
The volumetric weight of the shipment is calculated with the formula LxWxH (cm) / 6000 (1 cubic meter = 166.67 kg). The chargeable weight to be considered is the biggest weight between volumetric weight and gross weight.
Calculation example #1:
Parcel dimensions: 60 x 40 x 40 cm (LxWxH)
Parcel weight: 12 kg
The volumetric weight is 60*40*40/6000 = 16 kg, so the chargeable weight is 16 kg
Calculation example #2:
Parcel dimensions: 60 x 40 x 40 cm (LxWxH)
Parcel weight: 20 kg
The volumetric weight is 60*40*40*40/6000 = 16 kg, so the chargeable weight is 20 kg

AIR TRANSPORT RATES FOR PERSONAL EFFECTS
The air transport rates are to be calculated by adding the air transport rate with local taxes from Henri Coanda Airport – they include all local taxes applicable for general goods at Henri Coanda International Airport, customs formalities and customs representation by Douane Group SRL.
Additional services are available at the airport, on request, in addition to the air transportation of goods and personal effects.
The rates shown below are valid and applicable immediately, with confirmation at the time of booking. Air cargo transportation to international airports served by our airlines can be offered upon request in addition to the listed rates.

- ISPM 15 pallet 80×120 mm : EUR 80,00/piece
- ISPM 15 pallet 100×120 mm : EUR 90,00/piece
The above rates do not include any local, customs or any other tax at the destination. These will be paid by the recipient at the destination airport.
